The Human Capital Resource Center was founded by Gena Cox, PhD. an industrial/organizational psychologist. Dr. Cox noticed that many organization leaders understood the actions they could take to have a positive impact on their businesses' revenue and profits. However, they knew less about what they should do to develop more positive relationships with their investors, management boards, coworkers and staff. In other words, Dr. Cox observed that business leaders might sometimes need help in expanding their current interpersonal and behavioral styles in order to have as much interpersonal, social and cultural impact in their businesses as they have on the financial outcomes.

Dr. Cox knew from her corporate work experiences and research that many of the leaders were able to improve financial outcomes were those who knew who to relate positively with the various constituents a modern leader must influence. So, the short of it is that the Human Capital Resource Center was founded to help organization leaders become more effective by providing one-on-one executive coaching and other custom leadership development services.
